EXECUTIVE ORDER is a 3,300 square foot, two level, American history-themed, 21 and older, cocktail bar, lounge, and event space located in downtown San Francisco, California, blocks away from the San Francisco Moscone Convention Center, the Union Square Shopping District, dozens of San Francisco’s finest hotels, a number of Fortune 500 and tech company headquarters and is at the base of the former San Francisco Emporium Shopping Centre in the SOMA Pilipinas Cultural District.
The theme pays tribute to ideals such as freedom from tyranny, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, equal rights for all, conservationism, creating a more fair and level playing field for all people, the duty of government to help and protect its citizens in times of need, and most importantly to act as a catalyst for good; it also recognizes that we are still an imperfect nation - a work in progress, that recognizes & celebrates the significant role that immigration and diversity has played in America's history, that emphasizes the importance of equal opportunity for all to contribute to the greater good, and to promote action to form a more just society.

EXECUTIVE ORDER offers hand-crafted, artisan cocktails, spirits, beer, wine and coffee.

HOW WE OPERATE
To minimize labor costs, which in turn allows us to provide lower or, at the very least, more competitive prices with our cocktail lounge counterparts in the immediate downtown vicinity, we do not employ servers to take your order table-side and deliver them to your table.
We ask that you start at the bar, have a conversation with the bartender, get recommendations and/or place your order. We'll make your drinks right in front of you.

We are a cocktail lounge and bar furnished with cozy lounge seating sections with comfortable sofas, armchairs, and shadowbox cocktail tables that tell different stories about our country's history.

When you come to EXECUTIVE ORDER, we WANT YOU to have the Freedom to explore and experience the whole venue- check out the artwork, the dioramas inside the cocktail tables, sit or stand, interact with the bartenders, see and try any of the hundreds of spirits we carry behind the bar!

24 hour, city-owned and operated Fifth & Mission Street Garage is conveniently located directly accross the street.

A white zone is located directly in front of the venue (the white zone may be listed as Bloomingdales).

1 block to/from BART & MUNI Metro stop: Powell Street
1/2 block to/from MUNI bus lines 14, 14R at Mission and 5th Street.
